Thank Goodness It’s…

Mr. Hugh Ringer – for typing up those amazing PHSSL Board minutes from the summer meeting and sending them to me to distribute!

Bro. Rene Sterner – who recently celebrated his 50th year as a Christian Brother! Part of those years were spent here, in Pittsburgh, with us.

The staff and patrons of the Canonsburg Library – for pitching in to help a coworker and to learn some more about forensics by judging for Lyn Crouse at the Peters practice tournament. (Who knows, we may see them again!)

Sharon Volpe and the North Allegheny Forensic Team – for holding the first of the district wide after school festivals… a good place for students to get themselves going!

Alice Ursin and the Bethel Park Forensic Team – for helping the Pittsburgh district get its season started by hosting the opening tournament of the year.

The committee who set up and implemented the judges’ clinic – particularly Ben Edwards and Lyn Crouse. See Lyn’s comments.

The NFL and Harold Keller – for sharing time, resources and ideas with us at the PSDA conference.

Tony Figliola – for doing such awesome presentations at the PSDA conference. Thanks for setting up that tfpsad yahoogroup for sharing materials.

Joyce Osborne-Fischer  - for all of the legwork she did to make the district meeting a “taste-full” way to start the new competition season!

Sharon Volpe – for setting up and maintaining this website for the past year!

Alice Ursin -  for representing the Pittsburgh district so well when she co-chaired impromptu at the NFL national tournament!

Our friends in Philly – under the guidance of Brother Rene – who hosted a fantastic NFL national competition!
