The Pittsburgh District NFL consists of schools throughout western Pennsylvania. The district adheres to the National Forensic League's mission of promoting high school and middle school speech and debate activities as a means to develop a student’s essential life skills and values.

To become a member of the league, please contact the national office and the district chair. In addition to the national dues, schools are required to pay local dues of $40.00 for the year. A dues statement is attached for your convenience.

Schools that are members of the league compete in any of three sets of qualifiers in the spring for the right to compete at nationals. The district committe is responsible for these qualifiers.
